Well after a traumatic, emotionally exhausting 2 weeks where I’ve felt like I’ve been dragged though a hedge backwards and then run over by a tractor on the other side, last night I finally felt calm.
It’s not necessarily that I had a great day, but I guess having left my laptop at work for nearly a week my energy levels have begun to be restored.
I tried to get an early night after chilling out watching Beauty and the Beast (finishing off my Disney fix!), the downside was that I woke up half way through the night with my mind going round in circles about work stuff. I couldn’t even remember what it was when I woke up, but I guess I need to do a bit more pro-active chilling- with the emphasis on the active, small steps!
